Getting started

Install the theme

1. Sign in to the Shopify admin for your store.
2. Open Online Store → Themes. If you have a licensed theme ZIP, choose Import theme → Upload zip file and upload it. If you purchased through the Theme Store, follow Shopify’s theme installation flow.
3. Find Velmora in your theme library and open the Theme Editor using Edit theme or Customize, depending on your admin interface.
4. Keep the theme unpublished while you prepare and check the store.

Duplicate before editing

In Online Store → Themes, open the theme’s action menu and choose Duplicate. Give the copy a useful name, such as “Velmora — working copy”. Make design and code changes in that copy. Publish only after checking the storefront on desktop and mobile.

First-time setup

1. In Theme settings, add your logo and choose fonts and colors.
2. In Content → Menus, create a Main menu and Footer menu. Select them in the Header and Footer sections.
3. In Settings → Policies, add your refund, privacy, shipping, and terms policies.
4. Add real products, product media, and collection images.
5. Select those products and collections in your homepage sections.
6. Configure your contact page and remove placeholder addresses, phone numbers, and map links.

Review and publish

Preview the theme on desktop and mobile. Check menus, links, variant selection, sold-out states, sale pricing, search, cart updates, and checkout. Publish the checked working copy from Online Store → Themes.
