Frequently asked questions
Common questions and practical troubleshooting.
Theme version: 1.0.0Using Velmora
Can I edit Velmora without code?
Yes. Use the Theme Editor for sections, colors, typography, buttons, navigation assignments, and content. Duplicate the theme before changing code.
Can I use apps with Velmora?
Yes, where an app provides compatible Shopify app blocks or embeds. Test every installed app; the app provider controls its performance and accessibility.
Can I use the theme for a non-fashion store?
Yes. Replace all demo imagery, navigation, product content, and editorial copy so the storefront accurately represents your business.
Where do I find the theme version?
Open the Theme Editor and check the theme information in its menu. Depending on Shopify’s interface, the version may also appear in the theme details or Theme settings. Copy the installed version exactly into your support request.
Troubleshooting
A menu is not visible
Confirm that the menu exists under Content → Menus, contains published links, and is selected in the Header or Footer section. Save and check the mobile menu too.
A homepage card is empty
Open the section and select its required product, collection, page, article, or image. Confirm the linked content is published. Remove the section if it is not needed.
A product option looks incorrect
Check options, variant availability, media assignments, and inventory in Shopify. Refresh the product page and test each option.
A section does not match the expected layout
Check desktop and mobile settings, including image, spacing, color, and text size. Temporarily remove custom CSS in a duplicate theme to check whether it causes the issue.
My collection filters are missing
Check filters in Shopify’s Search & Discovery app, matching product data, and filter controls in the collection or search template. Test with products that have the required values.
How should I test accessibility?
Use logical heading levels, useful image alternative text, descriptive links, and readable contrast. Check keyboard navigation for menus, search, product options, cart, and contact forms. Review the storefront at different screen sizes.
